01 -
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and flour, pressing to adhere.
02 -
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon butter. Sear two pork chops at a time for 2-3 minutes per side without moving, then transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining pork chops, adding another tablespoon butter.
03 -
Reduce heat to low, add final tablespoon of butter to skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
04 -
Whisk in heavy cream, cream cheese, chicken broth, onion powder, and remaining 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Simmer gently for 10 minutes until sauce thickens and can coat the back of a spoon.
05 -
Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup at a time, until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
06 -
Spray a 5-6 quart slow cooker with nonstick spray. Arrange pork chops flat in the bottom, slight overlapping allowed. Pour sauce evenly over chops. Cover and cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours or on low for 3 to 4 hours until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
07 -
Serve pork chops hot with preferred sides such as roasted potatoes and green beans.
