Honey Mustard Chicken Wraps (Printer-Friendly Version)

Tender chicken with brown sugar mustard seasoning and a creamy honey mustard sauce wrapped with lettuce and tomato.

# Ingredients Needed:

→ Chicken seasoning

01 - 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
02 - 1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

→ Protein and oil

06 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Honey mustard sauce

08 - 4 teaspoons yellow mustard
09 - 1 tablespoon honey
10 - 1 tablespoon plain nonfat Greek yogurt
11 - 1 tablespoon light mayonnaise

→ Wrap assembly

12 - 4 light or low-carb tortillas or wraps
13 - 4 to 8 green leaf lettuce leaves
14 - 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Combine dry mustard powder, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and garlic salt in a small bowl. Place chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or mixing bowl, add the seasoning mixture, seal or cover, and toss to coat evenly.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces without overcrowding, stirring occasionally to brown all sides. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes until cooked through and browned. Remove from heat.
03 - Whisk together yellow mustard, honey, Greek yogurt, and light mayonnaise in a small bowl until well combined.
04 - Lay a tortilla flat and top with 1 to 2 lettuce leaves and 1 to 2 tomato slices along the center. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey mustard sauce over the vegetables. Layer with approximately 3.25 ounces (one-quarter) of cooked chicken. Fold the tortilla ends in and roll tightly to enclose the filling. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make four wraps.
05 - Cut each wrap in half if desired and serve immediately or refrigerate wrapped individually for later consumption.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - For best texture, avoid stirring the chicken too frequently while cooking to allow proper browning.
